Alex received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 2011 after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University in Athletic Training and becoming a Board Certified Athletic Trainer in 2007. Alex recently became a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists and becomes one of only a handful of clinicians in the state that is Board Certified as an Athletic Trainer as well as a Sports Clinical Specialist.
After serving in several capacities as a full time physical therapist at an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Layton for the past 4 years, Alex decided to pursue the opening of his own practice, The Clinic, in the fall of 2015.
In addition to a full time clinic schedule, Alex also continues to serve on Weber State University Athletics’ official volunteer sport’s medicine staff. He has also worked with many other various professional athletes, college athletes, recreational athletes, community high school athletes, and competitive youth soccer clubs both as a consultant and as an active member of the sports medicine community. In his spare time Alex enjoys spending time with his wife Brittnie and 3 children, hiking, biking, skiing, golfing, and outdoor concerts.
